Got hooked up with Karyl by calling Home Depot Home services. She as very friendly during a home visit and gave some good advice and sold me on a water softener. Scheduling the install was easy. Jared took about 2 hours to complete it and the install was very professional. The water softener is much larger than the old one in the house and much bigger than anything you can buy at the box stores. Working efficiently now for soft water throughout the house. Their bid was hundreds of dollars less than two other "highway robbery" companies selling similar equipment. I'm very happy I called Home Depot for this purchase.

I wish JF Denney plumbing was closer as I would use them for all my plumbing needs, but they mainly serve Leavenworth and I am in Jefferson County.

From the moment Jason came to the house to check on our very old unit I felt comfortable with him, his knowledge of the system and water. He was professional, personable and respectful of our home. He gave us all the information to look over. I called back that week to tell him we wanted the unit. It was put in the following Monday. Jared came to install it and I found him just as professional and respectful as Jason. The basement looked as clean and neat as it did before he started. Jason came to check on us that day also. WE LOVE THE SYSTEM We use less than half of all soap products which will save us money on top of the wonderful drinking water we now have. My ice tea is crystal clear and a delight to drink.. We live in a rural area and the taste of our water left much to be desired. Even our dog noticed the difference. Jason called up to check on us and I was delighted to tell him how happy we are.
I would highly recommend anyone looking into a water treatment system to call KC Kinetico and let them explain their system. It is a great company with a wonderful staff.

We had a Lady Kenmore water softener for over 20 years that worked well until it developed a solid salt bridge. We shopped the field for a replacement after doing without soft water for several months. The Kinetico non-electric short model seemed ideal with the low height brine tank. Those 40# bags just got too heavy to handle with a 4' high brine tank.

From Jason's sales info and Jared's professional installation we again have good soft water for showers and laundry. All I have to do make sure the small tank has salt.

You did what you said you'd do, when you said you'd do it and for the quoted price!!! EXCELLENT Jared did an outstanding job!!!

The Kinetico crew was professional and friendly start to finish. They know their product very well and enthusiastically stand behind it. We've enjoyed our softened water.. No more crust forming around sinks and faucets. Our sinks stay cleaner longer. Our water tastes great, clear and refreshing. So far we are very pleased and would recommend Kinetico.

The day after our RO filter was installed our 5 year old tasted the water and declared " I really like the new water!"

We absolutely love our system. KC water is extremely hard and has a bad taste. We used lotsa of soap/bathgel. Now, our skin is smooth, no hard water deposit on the stainless steel sink and its easier to clean shower tiles. I drink more water because it actually tastes good. I would defiantly recommend the Kinetico of KC to others.

We purchased our unit several years ago. Beings how it is older it is hard to find the filters. I believe what I paid for my filters and service call was way too much. A company closer could have gotten them cheaper, but I went with you because you deal with Kinetico. The service man was very nice, very helpful and very thorough which I really appreciate. I just think its very expensive. I do like Kinetico as it has a high rating drinking water wise and we have never had a problem with our system. We also have a Kinetico Water Softener.

Service was above and beyond. Thank you for your extra help with the sprayer too! The only "problem" was our new faucet color was ordered wrong, but Jarad installed a temporary one while the correct one was ordered, so no problem.

We have used Culligan drinking water systems for over 20 years. When we moved I was reading on Consumer Reports was the big winner with their independent tests. I contacted Jason who came to our home and gave us a very good NO pressure presentation on Kinetico drinking water systems. We opted for the K-5. We had nothing but polite and profession treatment from this company. We have been using our new water system for a little over a month and it blows away anything I have every had. The water pressure is impressive. We get great ice cubes. Coffee and Tea is amazing. Rice and pasta taste better than ever. Recipes that use water are better. To sum it up. It was worth every penny and I would do it again in a heartbeat. You guys are the Best! Thank You!

We couldn't be more pleased with our system. We have had it for nearly 3 years now and it works beautifully. We love that we have purified (R.O.) water at the sink and from the refrigerator. We love Kyle and the guys that installed it had to work really hard to get ours in just right and they did a fabulous job!We would certainly recommend Kinetico of KC and JF Denney Plumbing for all your furnace, water system, humidifier and hot water heater needs. They have a yearly service plan that is quite worth the money; give them a call and sign up for it!

If the Kinetico system we purcahsed is half as good as the people that installed it I will be more than happy. Kyle and Jarad have gone out of their way to make sure everything is okay. After we decided to purchase the non-eletric system we found out that my mother had an earlier version in her home. Her unit needed to be replaced after 29 years. Kyle and Jarad not only replaced the old unit but took the time to transfer the salt from the old to new. No doubt about recommending this system or these guys.

After getting an estimate from Culligan, and not wanting to install a water softner myself, I called Kinetico. They took care of everything for a low price, including installation. After a 1-year lease I opted to purchase the sofner system, so no more payments. JF Denny Plumbing out of Leavenworth did a fine job of installing the softner. Equipment is easy to maintain, and the service was great. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a water softner and wanting to balance price and quality.

I had a compression nut on my system leaking and in trying to tighten it I broke it. I tried to get a replacement at a hardware store and was told I had to go the the manufacturer for the part. I called the Kinetico number in the JoCo book and was eventually contacted by David. I told him my problem and he said I could come to the shop for the nut. When I asked if he could mail to me he said he would deliver it to my home (this was yesterday) Today it was in my mailbox with two nuts and the note to fill out this review. There was no charge for the parts.

I could not be more pleased with David's service. He is a great asset to your company. Thanks again David and have a great holiday season.

I had Jason come out after we purchased a home that had a previous softener which was removed when we purchased it. We started seeing buildup of lime in less than a year. Jason and his team installed a new 2040OD and charcoal filter for us. We now have soft water and chlorine free as well!

The installer was VERY attentive to detail and it looks very professional. The systems might be a little more expensive than a normal softener, but do you want a Mercedes or a pinto? VERY well done, would recommend to others without hesitation.

Dantri Water of Atchison, KS left us high and dry with installation of a used unit, tanks that were not new, but charged us a new price. Denny's has given us wonderful service, answered weekend emergency calls and responded to our calls promptly. I cant say enough good things about Jarad & Kyle. I'm glad Denny's is our Kinetico agents.

Had the Kinetico man come out to my house. He wanted to charge close to $1500 for a softener and drinking water system. After he left I had the Culligan Man come over and I'm glad I did. I ended up getting a rental water softener system for like $23 dollars a month instead of spending $1500 + tax.

Lauren, I’m sorry to hear about your experience. Kinetico of Kansas City does not have any record of being out to your home.

You stated we quoted $1500 for a drinking water system and water softener.

I would like to add a few points to consider. We are very familiar with Culligan of Kansas City’s pricing structure and you would be very hard pressed to buy a New Culligan drinking water system and water softener installed for under $2000. This includes a single tank electric water softener which you can find similar models from Sears, Lowes, Home Depot and we also carry, starting at $599. This may be the reason they offered you a rental option.

The only unit in the $1500 price quote we carry would be our twin tank non-electric water softener, which has been made and manufactured in the United States since 1970. This unit would not be comparable to a Culligan water softener, because they do not manufacture a non-electric water softener. Judging by our customer feed back of former Culligan owners, Kinetico has a superior system, because it doesn’t rely on timers or clocks to cycle.

The Culligan rental program is usually $28.95 per month, so it sounds like you got a good deal at $23.00. The only down side is that you possibly had to sign a contract lasting several years without an option to use your rental money towards the purchase.

Our water softener rental program, that is comparable to Culligan, is $19.95 per month. This includes a New Unit and no Contracts to sign.
There is also an option to purchase, where all of your rental money goes towards the purchase price.

We strive to provide the best possible customer service and products at Kinetico of Kansas City and if all these options were not presented to you, I apologize.

Both the salesman and the installation tech were knowledgeable & friendly.

The service was prompt, both when we needed our old model serviced and when the new one was installed.

We were satisfied with our last system, but very disappointed it wasn't fully doing its job of removing iron.(We have well water). The JFDenney reps were kind enough to take our old system apart and show me how they knew it wasn't working properly.

One of the best improvments I have done on my home. I noticed a difference the first time I washed my hands. Even the puppy baths are better. Pig (my schnauzer) doesnt itch after his bath.
I am drinking water more now then ever. I never cared much for a glass of water but it really taste good now, much better then even bottled water.

We have really enjoyed our Kinetico Water Softener. We did the research.We looked at all the water softeners on the market and we are so glad we bought a Kinetico Water Softener.

We waited for 1 1/2 years after we bought our house thinking we could live without a softener. Boy were we wrong! Within just a few days of installing your non-electric system we could see the difference in everything from dishes coming out cleaner in the dishwasher to just feeling the water in the shower. We also got a whole house dechlorinator. We love drinking our water now without feeling like we need to run it through a filter! Your employees were knowledgeable, prompt, nice and a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend Kinetico and JF Denney to anyone!

They diagnosed my problem and made the necessary repair, then called back after a couple of days to see If I was satisfied and if the softener was working up to my expectations. I told them I was not sure about the softness level of the water and would like to have it verified and they came back the next day, made the test and proved the equipment was working correctly at no extra charge. Great customer service.
